SB Global has inked a contract to launch a unique, game-changing programme that will have a long- term impact on social development in the state and the country. A unique project conceived by the MP of Idukki constituency, Sri. Joice George, the project is aimed at making a difference in 20,000 students in Idukki by 2019. The Broad Objective of the programme is to enable 14-15 year old children – students of 9th standard, to become aware of themselves – their strengths and weaknesses and to help them navigate the future using a moral compass. The programme will help them develop a VISION - Value systems to act as a moral compass, Inspiration needed to think , head, Self Esteem; Interpersonal skills to succeed in life, Opportunities for personal development, Networking – building contacts for the future. In Phase I, 60 students each from 74 schools across the parliamentary constituency will be mentored over a period of 5 months. The programme is managed by the Kottayam/ Idukki branch of CII, the premier association of Indian industry and SB Global is the Training Partner of Project EYES.
